Phew! Creating a decent OC is HARD when you're as nit-picky as I am. Now I'll finally have something other than the mane 6 to commission!

This is a reference sheet for Gadget, my first OC.

Yes, I used Time Turner as a base. The funny thing is, I arrived back at a similar coat color to the original completely independently after playing around with the color wheel for an hour, and I only noticed the similarity after I had decided on the color. Funnily enough, I also arrived at a nearly perfect split-complementary color scheme.

I actually intended him to look like an ordinary background pony. That makes it easier to work with him in certain fics and projects. I just spent more time on the color and character sheet instead of making him look like a stereotypical crazy OC. I stuck with Time Turner's hair because that is actually how my hair is in real life. Plus, basing him on an existing model allows me to easily edit him into any medium where Time Turner is already done, regardless of my skill with that medium.
