Cutie mark requests CLOSED. (List below)
Welcome to my page! I am not what I would call an artist, so I have very little skill with "real art". My cutie marks and vector resources are my way of giving back to a community that has given me far more than I can ever repay. Art, though I've learned much about it during my time here, is still a foreign field to me. I'm constantly looking to hone my technical skills though, so advice and suggestions are always welcome.
Main Cutie Mark Request:
Closed for a little while because new job.
Show Vectors and Other Things:
Due to occasional delays, I'm only taking one request and one trade at a time now. The request slot is first-come-first-serve, and the trade slot is subject to my discretion. If you want to make a request, either wait until the slot is open, or if it's really simple (or not a cutie mark), send me a note. If you want to trade or do something else, send me a note.
There is a side request slot, but it is now only for simple vectorizations of fully-designed cutie marks, show vector requests, and other easy stuff. I don't do commissions at all now. Trades are still open, though.
Requests take as long as I need. I'll try to do trades ASAP.
Requests will always be free because I believe everypony deserves a cutie mark. Tips are always appreciated, though! (But certainly not expected.)
Gifts:(My IOU list)
Ultimate Kindle Fanfic Collection, Status Log:(Here is where I talk to myself.)
Entire groups completed and deployed:
Nallar's Archive (Docs hosted fics) (Very outdated, Update later.)
Star-6 Group (From February rip. Update these later.)
Star-5 Group (Complete 10/29/13)
Star-4 Group (Complete 11/20/13)
Star-neededs written prior to April 2014 (Complete 6/11/17)
Current task group, Star Neededs (Continuing):
(Complete 6/12/17) Database preparation: Copy the entire EQD Super Simple Story Archive with links into Excel, and sort without leading articles.
(Complete 6/12/17) Keep a raw copy for change detection in case you leave it for a while?
(Complete 6/12/17) Choose whatever data fields might be useful, for example, if you have the fic and whether it's completed, up to date, etc.
(Coomplete 6/17/17) To prioritize fics you don't have, go through and mark what is already deployed.
Start with getting fics you don't have, then update what is already deployed. Go through the database, filling out fields, updating, and downloading new fics as you go. New fics need: pull into calibre, remove cover images and check size, generate new cover, write tags, copy description and quote, and determine star rating.
(Batch-by-Batch) Convert to mobi, 16 pt base font, embed tags into first page, deploy to Kindle, move into collections.
When the rest of the list is done, go looking for fics that weren't marked as stories.
(Ongoing) Keep up to date with new fics daily, occasionally check on incomplete fics.
